Canary District is a housing complex in Toronto. It initially held 6 buildings which served as the 2015 Pan American Games Athletes’ Village for the 2015 Pan American Games. The Canary restaurant was an iconic restaurant located at the entrance to the district.

The Canary District is now home to 82,000 sq.ft. Cooper Koo Family YMCA, George Brown College’s first student residence, residential buildings, and the health-focused, and a vibrant Front Street Promenade. The district is connected to Corktown Common park, an 18-acre park with trails. The area has everything you need, from apartments, shopping, office buildings, and nature.

Canary Commons is a new building project in Canary District, which features two towers with 387 suites, which include 43 spacious townhomes. The buildings are modern and new and include many amenities.
